Dr. Jon BruhnDr. Bruhn is a 1981 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. He has practiced in the state of Washington since 1982 and owned and operated North Creek Pet Hospital since 1985...days he remembers fondly since his hair was still blond and his waistline was smaller. Originally specializing in large and small animal medicine, he now practices mainly on dogs, cats, rabbits and occasional exotic challenges. His main interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, internal medicine and dermatology, but to be honest he has a pretty intense curiosity about almost anything. Dr. Bruhn is a firm believer in continuing education and tries to get in at least 50-60 hours per year on the newest techniques and therapies available in the field. He is also certified to practice shockwave therapy/digital x-ray and acupuncture. He feels lucky to be able to share his career and life with his wife and two children and their pets. Dr. Bruhn enjoys anything to do with the outdoors and is an avid sea kayaker, hiker, skier and backpacker. Dr. Bruhn is a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association, the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. He also is a member of the Veterinary Post Graduate Institute, the Cornell Feline Health Center and the American Association for Veterinary Informatics. |
